A pencil portrait of VICTORIA'S SECRET 2

Another look at the ingredients to make a simple pencil portrait...

My usual rough sketch at the beginning...

Adjusting the proportion form this one took forever...I lost track of time. It takes a lot of love, patience and motivation to do this especially with the complicated pattern at the bra. People who hate art can never survive this... I must be nuts, watching the time goes by and still happy...

I didn't think I would live to use the tortillion...

But I did live to finish the skin shading done with 2B pencil.

The hair...the hair...I was so tired I don't think I did a good job for this one...T___T

Another trial for patience and sanity, completing the pattern on the bra... I fear I may not be as accurate as I should...

Here's the picture drawn in 2B pencil.

Time to add on the 4B and 6B magic... it's a rather 'light' picture so not much of 6B was used.

At last, the final work!

This is another one of the 2 Victoria's Secret drawing I did for my brother Ray. He's on the right panel, my follower "Madfluter", the ONE and only.

Happy Birthday RAY!!!

Glad I have a brother, though we love to fight... hey, we should visit China's Hua Shan one day and have a sword duel.. how's the Muay Thai training coming?

Hope you find this chick ridiculously hot too!

A pencil portrait of VICTORIA'S SECRET 1

Here are the ingredients again...

The usual start off, a very rough sketch.

Adjusting the proportion took me about 1 hour 15 mins.
Lots of erasing and redrawing following the reference very closely.

The tortillion stage, a relief...

Lots of skin to shade for this one, she's not wearing much clothes...

Finally done with the skin in 2B pencil.

Time for a hair-do...

Here's the picture all in 2B pencil shading.

4B and 6B to round off the job and bring the picture to life...

The final work.

This is one of the 2 Victoria's Secret drawing for my brother Ray, see him on the right panel where the followers are..."Madfluter"...I only have one any way on this date. He's the ONE!

Happy Birthday RAY!!!

Though we fight all the time, I'm still glad I have a brother. The next time we meet, I'll show you my ShaoLing fist and we shall go to the mountain for a duel.

Hope you find the chick ridiculously hot.

A pencil portrait of ANGELINA JOLIE 4

Here are the tools I use again...

My usual start off...a very rough sketch.

Getting the proportion right is something I would really love to improve enormously on. This took me about 35mins.

Love it when the tortillion blending starts...

Face nearly done....in 2B pencil shading.

Time to work on the hair, also in 2B pencil.

This is what it looks like, the whole picture in 2B shading...

Make-up session begins with 4B and 6B pencils.

Here's the finished work!

Another drawing dedicated to my dear friend afordite

Hope you like it!

It's been (as usual) another busy busy 2 weeks for me and my concentration was rather poor. I actually drew this picture 5 times before I get it done, with 4 epic fails behind this final one. When I look back at each of them I get a funny feeling. How can a same person make so many different versions of the same picture? I'm not completely satisfied with this one I post either...

Really...I need a break...I haven't been making any constructive work lately...
